The Eagles Have Landed!

Here are some pictures of the Eagles we were wooing about. Our good friend & nextdoor neighbor was kind enough to share his (he has a much better camera than our lady). These are from last Saturday.Pretty cool, hu?! If you look real close you can see the first one has a fish in his claw.

This is the view from our front door this morning. WooWoo!

Happy Valentines Day Everypup & fufu!

So this is "Lake Effect Snow", Hawoooo!

Finally! We're sure we've mentioned before that we live on the river (well across the street, close enough) so we've been wondering why we haven't gotten any of this "Lake Effect Snow" that our lady keeps wooing about. Well, today it has happened, it started last night & there's no sign of it stopping till late tonight, so far only 8 inches, but there's promises of around 2-4 more, from the looks of things, the weather humans may actually be telling the truth this time. We definitely believe that our snow dancing has had some impact on the situation. Well, there's lots of snow to get back out in (it's very hot in the house after being out in all the glorious snow) so we'll let the lady show you some pictures while we go back out (for like the 18th million time so far, wonder how long she'll let us play this game). WooodyWooWooooo! Here's our Husky Wrangler after the lady got home from work today.

This is the river we live on, check out all the Geese, usually there's even more & lots of Eagles!

The rest are really self explanatory, Huskies & SNOW!

We sure hope everypup has been getting lots of snow in their dogparks!

Smells Be Gone and Treats & Things

Woo everypup & fufu! It was an awful day at our house today! Yes, carpet cleaning & bed washing day, boooooo! We thought we had done that stupid vacuum in once & for all, it hasn't worked for a couple weeks (we're sure you all can imagine the amount of hair we've been "sharing") only to find out that just some of it was broke & our man had ordered a new part that came in on Friday. So here Malechai is trying to sneak off with new part before he could fix it.No such luck! And as if the vacuum monster wasn't enough, the lady bought this new noisy, smelly contraption. Here, get a closer look... It's something called a SpotBot, whatever that is, all we know is it makes ALOT of noise! Malechai's sticking his tongue out at it, but it doesn't seem to notice, just keeps spraying smelly stuff & stealing all of our "smluff" (that would be our wonderful smells & all of our fluff that we've placed around oh so carefully). We're sure a stupid cat had something to do with the designing of this thing! Malechai even tried to lure it away by teasing it with one of his tasty bones, still nothing! Then to make matters worse, it called in backup, the big carpet shampooer, so the little thing was going & the big thing, & now ALL (and we do mean ALL) of our smluff is GONE! Gone off the couch, off the floor, bathroom/kitchen rugs, even off of our mats! It will take us weeks to get things back to smelling normal again. We didn't take any pictures of the big shampooer thingy, it was just too scary to document! Here we are after all the dramatic events of the day, on our "Downyfied" mats just trying to recoop. We hate to admit it, but that Downy stuff sure does make our mats soft & fluffy (kinda smells like our lady too).

OK, enough of the cleaning horrors, some good things happened this weekend too, we'd much rather woo about them! First, on Friday night our ladies friend Beth came over (we love Beth!) This is always a great thing, she is totally dogsome, she gets down on the floor, lets us work her over & doesn't even woo about all the fur.

Oh and get a gander at what she brought us everypup, THE SARGE Bone (perfect for the AO4, harooo), we highly recommend these, they are soooo tasty & stinky too, just an added bonus that the smell makes the lady "throw up in her mouth a little bit", end quote. We've pretty much annihilated them already. Thankwoooo BethABoo!

Next, (and this is just funny) our lady has been denied twice now on Ebay bidding on that dratted FURminator thingy (the Dog Gods are with us!) Not to mention, when she went to the pet store to buy one, we sent forgetful vibes with her & all she remembered to buy was TREATS! Just look at them all, she does love us! Go ahead lady, clean the carpets, if you must, so long as the tasty snacks keep coming.

We've aleady wooed about how wooderful the Healthy Choice Desserts are but we have to also give a howl out for Old Mother Hubbard Bac-N-Cheez Bisquits, of course all natural & Husky friendy, no nasty corn or artificial anything. Nice size too. Then there's the WELLNESS WellBars, don't be scared of these puppers, they are good eatin'! The yogurt, Apple & Bannana one gets two paws up from us, but there are several kinds to choose from. Again, nothin' but good stuff in these either, the lady even says they smell good enough to eat (DUH lady, why do you think we agree to sit for them) we say get your own! She also brought us these dragon toys, they have squeaky spots everywhere even one in their belly's that sounds like a sick duck. Plus they have "detachable" wings & tail, (although the lady would rather that we didn't).
So really, it has been a very good weekend, overall. Hope all you dogs had great ones! We'll have to say goodnight now, today was still rather stressfull & we have lots of smluff to get laid back down . Sweet Dreams of Shampooless Things, Macie & Malechai

The "rundown" for Sooky

Ok everypup & fufu, we need to do our "Brotherly/Sisterly" thing for a minute (which is just so cool ) and give our baby sister a pawsup on a few things. You all feel free to fill in whatever we forget.

First thing you need to know, the MOST important thing & don't ever forget this, ready...
CATS ARE EVIL! If there are cats in your house, make sure you let them know right away, that you all are NOT gonna be "buddies". Don't harm the cats, as your humans will not be to pleased, but DO NOT trust them EVER!

Next, you are a Husky, with this comes certain "expectations" shall we say. What this means is you must always do things at a "Huskies Pace", don't come just because the humans tell you to, make sure it's worth it, that there's some sort of treat involved. When you don't care for something or are not getting your way, let them know, give a good woo, loudly. Feel free to tear things up (we recommend tasty tissues), especially while you're little (you get away with alot more when you're "just a puppy"), and digging is ALWAYS good, don't let 'em tell you any different. Oh & you should definitely protest when they try to brush you & get more fur on them then on the brush. Demand to be let in & out all the time (wait till they sit down & repeat). And of course, insist on good treats, like anything chicken (or cats, hey, we can dream!) and big fat bones, none of that celery business!

Then you'll want to join HULA as soon as you've completed all of the official requirements, you can go to Meeska's blog for those details. We highly recommend joining the Husky Web Ring too, Raisa takes care of that. If you need any weather updates, help picking out colors, or maybe a "CAT Scan", you should check out the AO4. When you want to read cool stories about rescued Huskies, there are a couple great pups to check out, there's MaPaw & IndyPindy. Wanna learn how to be a show pup, go see the pups at D'Azuls, become a ninjahusky, you'll need Mr.Frodo K. Banks for that. You must go meet Turbo, he's our future president & very wise, he can always tell you if something is stupid or not! Ever wondered what a "gruffpuppy" is, it's Opy, a very sweet girl in Austrailia & her buddy Chuck , they made Dogs With Blogs happen.
Don't get tricked over at Arwen's Blog though, you never know, it could be the Evil Commander Bowie of the C(Un)IA ! If for some reason you choose to be one of those "spazy" Huskies, go on over to Holly's House & watch her videos of her spastic brother Sam, he's got it down paw! Althea has great woos about the dog park (we've still never been) & some pretty funny ones about her brother Lares. Bet you don't know what a hamsterrier is, well it's fufu, of course!

There's lots more great dogs here too, these are the ones that we like to visit regularly & thought we'd "introduce" you to, sorry, it's no butt sniff we know, but it's all we can do via the Internet. We hope this all helps! Alot of stuff you will learn as you go, like how far you should push your humans, too far & you can end up in a Shelter, not far enough & you're really not doing your heritage justice. Anything we can help with, just woooooo!

Sure We Only "Shed" Twice A Year

"The coat does not need much care except during the twice a year heavy shedding season, when they have to be combed thoroughly with a metal comb."
Haroooo, now this is just funny! Whatever human came up with this, obviously has never owned one of us! This is just from one of us...And we get brushed at least once a week. Not to mention, this is just what she gets from brushing us, this doesn't include all of the fur that we also are kind enough to leave around the house for them. We may only actually "blow our coats" twice a year but really that doesn't even begin to cover what we shed on a daily bases. Our lady wishes she knew some way to spin it into yarn, she said she could make some really nice "Afghans" out of it (we've tried to tell her that "Afghans" have their own fur & wouldn't want ours, but whatever).
Our lady has seen this device (The Furminator)on some of your blogs & they just got them at our pet store, so she's thinking we need one. How do those of you that have them used on you feel about them? Does it make the humans stop torturing us any quicker? Does it really get rid of that much more fur than a shed rake & comb? We're all for it if it's going to make the brushing game go any quicker, cause we don't care much for it at all. Yes, it's nice to be all fluffy, but does it really have to take so long?!
Give us a wooback everypup & let us know if we should destroy this thing when she brings it home.
